Gratitude

Our experience of gratitude is enhanced by understanding that something has been done for us that we could not possibly do for ourselves - Such as what God has done reconcile us to Him.  On the other hand, a posture of entitlement does the opposite - leaving us unfulfilled in our relationship with Him.
